Today’s culture has replaced the foundational concept that God will take care of us, with the idea that government will take care of us. Over the last few decades, somehow we have forgotten the God is our provider and by default have accepted the government as a replacement.
The problem with our government replacement is that it cannot be trusted like God could and is incapable of providing or protecting us. Governments have failed the world since the beginning of time.
We Don’t Need God, We Have Obama
The presidential debate last night was very interesting. The most disheartening ideas that I see the culture following is that, “We don't need God. Obama will take care of us all.”
The truth is that the government has failed and we will all pay for their failure. The pending recession may turn into an inflationary depression if the government continues to intervene.
The years of “easy money” are gone and we are now at the beginning of the next Great Depression. Homeschooled children that have learned to work hard at a young age will definitely have an advantage.

We need a nation-wide break from these false ideas and our leaders should be the first to tell us the truth. The truth is the life is not fair and the minute we start believe that it should be fair - we are in trouble. Yet, our presidential candidated continue to use terms like, “it’s not fair” – that the American people should have to …
Our society has come to the understanding that children deserve to have it easy. Many feel children should never have to work when growing up. The reality is if children don't learn how to work hard while they are young they may never learn. We are only hurting our children by over protect them.
If you want your children to succeed in life, find ways for them to have meaningful responsibilities as a young age. Homeschooling provides parents with a great opportunity to let children develop the skill and ability to work hard, so that by the time they are sixteen or seventeen, they will be able to lean on there ability to work for their keep.
I started working at age 13 for $1/hour. To this day, that experience was where built my relationship with money. I learned that it takes hard work to earn money and why my parents didn't want to buy the next toy and why they saved their money.
